JAMMU, Nov 26: Director General Youth Services and Sports, Navin Aggarwal flagged off State Contingent of Under-19 boys netball, Under-19 boys and girls basketball and Under-17 boys and girls hockey teams to participate in 59th National School Games to be held at Bathinda in Punjab from November 28 to December 3, 2013.
The flag off ceremony was held in an impressive and well attended function, organized by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports at Sports House MA Stadium, here.
The Contingent comprises of strong 72 playing members and 6 officials drawn from the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Aggarwal stressed upon the participants to play with sportsman spirit and hoped for better show of the State teams.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Madan Lal, Joint Director, Ved Prakash, Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Madan Lal, Deputy Director Planning and Tirath Ram, DYSSO, Jammu.
