JAMMU, May 13: The students of Air Force School Jammu brought laurels to the school by securing 14 gold, 16 silver and 17 bronze medals in 10th J&K State Karate Championship held at Rotary Club Gandhi Nagar today.
On the occasion, Dushant Choudhary was the chief guest.
A total of 52 students from the school participated in the championship and bagged 14 gold, 16 silver and 17 bronze medals.
Vikesh Sandhal, Principal, Air Force School Jammu while speaking stressed that these sports not only teach the art of self defense to students but also make them active, energetic and physically fit.
Sunaina Chahar, Executive Director, Air Force School, congratulated the students on their achievement.
The students were trained under the guidance of Ganesh Gupta, Karate instructor.
