JAMMU, June 22: A Jammu based girl has brought laurels to the UT of J&K by winning second prize in ‘Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Competition’ organised by the Department of Postal, India.
In a statement issued here, Kriti Chadha, D/o Amit Chadha and Alka Sharma, student of Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar secured second prize in ‘Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Competition-2019″. She wrote on the topic “Dear Bapu, You are Immortal” and was awarded a cash prize of Rs10, 000 by the Organising Department.
Senior Superintendent Post Offices Jammu, JR Angural today handed over the prize money to the winner.
The event was organised by the Government of India, Ministry of Communications Department of Posts (Philately Division.
