JAMMU, Apr 6: Heritage School celebrated its 8th Founders Day with enthusiasm and zeal.
The celebrations commenced with a special morning assembly in which the school choir enthralled everyone with their melodious songs. A brief history of the school’s march to success was also read out in which the achievements of the school were highlighted.
The occasion also witnessed students being awarded with All-Rounder’s Trophy (2012-13) for their scholastic and co-scholastic excellence in presence of their proud parents and staff members.
In his address to the students the Principal, Heritage School, congratulated the winners of the trophy. He exhorted the students to take up challenges. He also elaborated on importance of competition.
The programme came to a close by reverential rendition of the school song.
On the occasion, a friendly football match was also played between students and staff, which generated lot of buzz and excitement.
