DIG flags off Cross Country Run

SRINAGAR, Apr 6: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police CKR, Syed Afad-ul- Mujtaba flagged off Cross Country Run organized by Police Public School, Bemina from Nehru Park to Botanical Garden, in which students from 6th to 12th class of the school participated.
The run was organized with the aim of keeping the students fit and healthy. All the school teachers were present enroute for cheering up and motivating the participants.
The participants were distributed in four groups. In the first group, Rabiya Nazir, Arzoo Tafazul and Insha Abbas secured first, second and third positions respectively, whereas, in the second group, Zubir Yamin, Sameer Rashid and Sajid Bashir emerged winners.
In the third group, Ishfaq Bashir secured first position, whereas, Saqib Bashir and Naveed Ahmad secured second and third positions respectively. In the fourth group, Syed Iram, Amit Kour and Tanzeela Rahim secured first, second and third positions respectively.
