Chandwan XI seals berth in finals

HIRANAGAR, Mar 5: Defeating United XI Billawar by a big margin of 118 runs in the semifinals, Chandwan XI sealed berth in the final of the Open Cricket Tournament, being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports in collaboration with J&K Sports Council at Army Ground, Gadial here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Chandwan XI scored 243 runs in 15 overs. Sahil Choudhary top scored with 89 runs off just 32 balls, studded with 9 boundaries and 7 sixes. Satnam Singh also contributed 56 runs to the total.
In reply, Chandwan XI managed to score 125 runs in 15 overs by losing 7 wickets, thus lost the match by a big margin of 118 runs. Arjun top scored with 62 runs off 40 balls.
