GGM Science College organises Inter-College Poster Making competition

JAMMU, Mar 3: Govt Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College Jammu organised Poster Making and Essay Writing competition to celebrate ‘World Wildlife Day’, here today.
The topic of the Essay was ‘Effect of Climate Change on Wildlife Conservation’.
Students of constituent Colleges of Cluster University of Jammu participated in the event to vie for the top honours.
Dr Koushal Samotra, Principal GGM Science College was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Koushal highlighted the need to conserve Wildlife.
Dr Renu Vakil from the Department of Physics, Dr Aditi Khajuria and Dr Seema Rani Manhas from Department of English.
In Poster Making, Arushi Sharma, Student of PG English from GGM Science College won 1st position, Shubham Sharma, student of GGM Science College secured 2nd position, while Tania Mahajan of Govt College of Education and Imtiyaz Ahmed of MAM College bagged 3rd position.
In Essay Writing competition, the 1st position was bagged by Bidushi Sharma of Govt College of Education, the 2nd position went to Aditi Kalhuria of Govt College of Education and Akash Gupta of GGM Science College, while the 3rd position was claimed by Saber Hussain of MAM College Jammu.
The programme was hosted by Dr Vandana Khajuria, Dr Babita Mahajan, Dr Neeraj Gupta, Prof Shardha, Dr Iesha Sharma and Pankaj Mansotra.
