JAMMU, Mar 21: Lord Mahavira Playway School, Shiv Nagar celebrated Annual Sports Day with enthusiasm and zeal.
In the Sports meet, toddlers from pre-nursery to UKG classes took part.
Demonstration by the invited Speedball team, band march past and demo of karate marked the starting of the meet.
The toddlers participated in different events including lemon race, frog race, duck race, pair race, leg fold race and simple race. They also took part in baseball, collect the toys and water the plant games too.
In water the plant race, Himani, Saranshi, and Charu emerged winners, whereas, in the toy race, Samarth, Radhika and Geetanshi claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In baseball race, Piyush, Ujjwal and Desraj secured top three rankings, while, in frog race, Tanishq, Rudra and Nayan claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In leg fold race, Karman claimed first position, whereas, the second and third positions were pocketed by Rudrakshi and Kanika. In sack race, Saksham, Rudraksh and Narayan emerged winners.
In lemon and spoon race (girls), Sanna, Prachi and Siya emerged winners, whereas in boys category, Nitiyam, Vishu and Suvyansh took first, second and third positions respectively.
In pair race, Svamin and Adhyan, Ryna and Suresh, Aditiya and Siddharth emerged winners.
The chief guest stressed that the games should be organized to boost the physical standard and mental ability of the students.
