Selection trials of 2nd PPCPL today

JAMMU, May 10: The selection trials for picking probable for the auction of the 2nd Police Public Cricket Premier League (PPCPL) will be held tomorrow at three different venues including KC Sports Club ground Jammu for the players of Jammu, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur; Sports Stadium Poonch for the players of Rajouri and Poonch and Govt PG College Ground Bhaderwah for the players of Bhaderwah, Doda and Kishtwar simultaneously at 9 am sharp.
The League is being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with KC Sports Club and Vishal Cricket Club. The players from Jammu, Kashmir, Delhi, UP, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal will be participating in the event.
The league is being organized under the Chairmanship of MK Sinha, IGP Jammu and the executive/organizing committee members of the league include Sujit Kumar DIG Jammu, Tejinder Singh SSP Jammu, Rajesh Sharma SO to IGP Jammu, Arjun Choudhary MD KC Sports Club, Ranjeet Kalra, Hilal Rather, Rajesh Dhar, Prashant Mahajan CPO, Farooq Ahmad SP Headquarters Jammu, Suram Singh SP Rural, Hamid Choudhary Dy.SP DAR Jammu, Sudhir Singh, Sanjeev Mahajan, Sham Singh Langey, Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Vijay Saberwal, Sanjeev Sharma, Karan Singh, Madan Mohan, Amit Bargotra and Rajesh Gill, Chief Prosecuting Officer/former Ranji Player and Organizing Secretary of the event.
The participating teams include Horizon Kings, KC Sports Club, Vriddhi Royals, Patel Cricket Club, Count & fitness Hurricanes, Samar Strikers, KC Royals, GSI Tigers and Game Changers.
The players desirous to take part in the league will have to report the selectors at the venues at 9 am sharp.
The auction of the selected players will be held on May 18, 2019 at Police Auditorium under the supervision of IGP Jammu and opening match will be played on May 27, 2019.
