JAMMU, Feb 13: Arnis National Championship 2018-19 concluded at Bhana Singh Stadium, RS Pura, here today.
The chief guest on the function was RS Chib, former Minister, while Dr SM Bali, Joint Secretary Indian Olympic Association and Haji Abdul Qayoom, Chief Sports Officer J&K State Sports Council were the guests of honour.
The other guests present on the Function were Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Complex, MA Stadium; Karan Bhagat, Tarvinder Singh, I/C Bhana Singh Stadium, RS Pura, Jammu and Neeraj Gupta, Principal Army Public School (APS).
Team J&K emerged overall champion, while Maharashtra remained runners-up.
In -72 kgs senior Boys, Haranjot Singh bagged gold while as Shrikant Somar from Maharashtra won silver and Kailash from Uttar Pradesh claimed bronze.
In -61 kgs Gulzar Ahmad from J&K bagged gold while Prashant from Uttar Pradesh clinched silver and MD Irfan from Maharashtra won bronze medal. In -66kgs, Gobinder from Chandigarh won gold while Manjeet Kumar from J&K bagged silver and Sourab from Maharashtra claimed bronze medal.
In -52 kgs Khushboo from Haryana bagged gold while Gouri from Maharashtra clinched silver and Kumari Depeka claimed bronze medal.
