JAMMU, Dec 28: Simula Cricket Club registered win over Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) in the inaugural tie of the KC Sports Club Cup, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Simula CC scored 127 runs. Shashi made 33 runs whereas Satish contribute with 26 runs.
From bowling side Nityam and Prabhjyot took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
While chasing the target, MGCA collapsed at 92 runs. Arya played a splendid inning of 54 runs whereas rest of the batsman failed to cross double digit mark.
From Simula, Raman Dutta took 3 important wickets, whereas Abhinav Khajuria also scalped 3 wickets. Raman Dutta was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Ashok Kumar, Vijay Raina and Puran Raina.
