SRINAGAR, Nov 6: State Thang-Ta Championship 2018 concluded at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, here today.
In the championship, 462 players from various districts including Baramulla, Pulwama, Jammu, Shopian, Poonch, Anantnag, Kulgam, Doda, Budgam, Bandipora, Ganderbal and Srinagar participated.
On the valedictory function, Naseem Javaid Chowdary Secretary J&K State Sports Council was the chief guest and Nusrat Gazala was the guest of honour. Syed Nisar Hussain Gellani President J&K Thang-Ta Association, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, Mohammad Galib and Altaf-ur-Rehman were also present.
District Jammu was declared as overall champion, while district Baramulla remained runner-up team.
The championship was organized by J&K State Thang-Ta Association and was sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
