JAMMU, Sept 19: Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) Dadwara bagged 1st position, while BVM Udhampur and BVM HSS Kishtwar claimed 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in the 30th State Sports Meet Athletics Samaroh at Sports Council Ground, Gandhi Nagar here.
The Meet in which 17 schools from the zones of Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Doda, Ramban, Udhampur, Reasi, Katra, Kathua, Billawar and Jammu participated was organised by Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K.
Vinay Sahrma, SP City South Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Brij Mohan Sharma, retired Additional Deputy Commissioner presided over the function.
Earlier, Samir Krishan Saproo, Prant Office Secretary presented welcome address, while Pradip Kumar Tripathi highlighted the achievements of Vidhya Bharti Schools in J&K.
Kuldip Raj Ji announced the results, Samir K Saproo conducted the pproceddings of the programme.
