JAMMU, Oct 15: Two day long 6th J&K State Kurash Championship concluded today at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
The championship was held in 29 weight categories, in which around 200 students participated. Best player of the tournament was Mridul Kerni.
On the closing ceremony, Sat Sharma, State President BJP and MLA Jammu West was the chief guest, who distributed the medals to all the players in presence of Parmod Kapahi, Vice President BJP, Darshan Kumar Ward President, Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Complex MA Stadium, Jammu, Sandeep Gupta Vice President AIBOC, Amit Gupta Chairman Alpha Mission School and Vikas Gupta Joint Secretary JFI.
Saurav Chowdhary, Chairman J&K Kurash Association, Dr Sandeep Singh, President, Dr Seema General Secretary, Shashi Balgotra Senior Vice President, Vipul Gupta Vice President, Rohit Gupta Treasurer and Vikas Dogra Technical Chairman of the association were also present.
The championship was officiated by Rajesh Verma, Akshay Choudhary, Danish Sharma, Aman Gupta, Komal Gupta and Dheeraj Kumar.
