UDHAMPUR, Sept 12: Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School (BVM) Udhampur organized ‘Sankul’ Level 29th Sports Meet. In this Sports Meet around 100 players drawn from 3 schools of ‘Sankul’ Udhampur Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High school Udhampur, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Middle School Thathi and Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Krimchi participated in the Meet in various athletic events, under-11, 14 and 17 boys and girls category at Mini Stadium Udhampur.
In Under-11 boys and girls in Race, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put and Discus Throw, BVM Udhampur begged 1st position and BVM Thathi bagged second position, while In Under-14 boys and girls High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Race and Discuss Throw, BVM Udhampur bagged 1st spot and BVM Thathi remained at second positiona and in Under-17 Boys and girls in Race, Shot put, Discus Throw, BVM Udhampur begged 1st position.
The Meet was conducted by Varun Sharma, Jeevan Kumar and Partap Singh. The selected players in the Meet will represent Sankul in the State Prant Level Games to be held in Reasi from September 16 to September 18, 2017.
Principal of BVM High School Udhampur, Renu Sharma was the chief guest in today’s proceedings.
