DODA, June 17: Police distributed clothing items to the 160 down trodden, poor and needy families of Thanalla area.
Clothing items including shirts, t shirts, sweaters, bags and shoes were distributed by SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir along with Additional SP Bhaderwah Shaazad Salaria, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma and SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Jatinder Sambyal.
While speaking, SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir said that the basic objective of police is to help the people in every way including security and assistance to make their day to day lives more comfortable.
He stressed upon the youth from rural background to work hard in their studies as they are the future of this country. He also directed the people to stay away from illegal practices like forest cutting and bovine smuggling.
He informed that in the coming days, the items will be distributed in other areas of the district like Charalla, Dessa etc.
