JAMMU, Oct 31: Treva Cricket Club (TCC) Arnia outplayed Chohala Cricket Club (CCC) RS Pura by 31 runs and sailed into the next stage of the ongoing 2nd Diwali T-20 Cup, being organized by Youth Welfare Association Cricket Club Simbal Camp at Government Boys High School, Simbal Camp, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, TCC made 130 runs by losing all the wickets in 19.3 over. Rakesh made 28 runs, while Ravi Kumar scored 26 runs.
For CCC side, Gulshan Kumar scalped 3 wickets by giving 20 runs in 4 overs, while Ravi Kumar Singh and Nikhal took 2 wickets each.
In reply, CCC failed to chase the target and collapsed at 99 runs in 15.3 overs by losing all the wickets. Prince Singh made 28 runs, while Ravi scored 26 runs and Ramneek chipped in 13 runs.
For TCC side, Bodh Raj scalped 4 wickets by giving 14 runs in 4 overs, while Ravi also took 3 wickets in 4 overs and Aman Singh clinched 3 wickets in 3 overs.
Ravi Kumar of TCC was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all rounder performance.
The match was officiated by Kulbir Singh and Harcharan Singh as umpires, while Jagandeep Singh maintained the scorecard.
