Anchal, Amandeep guide MBCC to register win over UCC in inaugural tie

JAMMU, June 15: Four wickets haul by Anchal and 44 runs by Amandeep Singh guide Market Bulls Cricket Club (MBCC) to register 28 runs win over United Cricket Club (UCC) in the inaugural tie of the 1st Summer T-20 Cricket Tourney, being organized by Lieutenant Thakur Dass Cricket Club, Akhnoor at GGM Science College hostel ground, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the match, MBCC made 139 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Amandeep Singh was the top scorer with 44 runs, while Jarnail Singh and Sunny made 19 and 17 runs respectively.
For UCC side, Abhihant Bakshi scalped 2 wickets, while Sidhant Vivek and Anil Naushad took one wicket each.
In the second inning, UCC failed to chase the target and bundled out at 111 runs for all out in 19.1 overs. Ashishant made 11 runs, while Saharvkh scored 10 runs.
For MBCC side, Anchal was the wrecker-in-chief, who scalped 4 wickets, while Binay and Amardeep Singh took 2 wickets each and Robin clinched one wicket.
Amandeep Singh of MBCC was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Madan Lal and Sanju as umpires, while Sandeep Manchanda maintained the scorecard.
