Idrees, Ashok, Praful help Jammu Blue XI to crush Jammu Green XI

JAMMU, May 24: Magnificent performance by Idrees Baig, Ashok and Praful Dhar helped Jammu Blue XI to register 10 wickets win over Jammu Green XI and register berth in the next stage of the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Junior Cricket Premier League, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Club at GGM Science College hostel ground, here today.
Batting first, Jammu Green XI set a target of 117 runs for all out in 28 overs. Munish was the top scorer with 34 runs, while Nitish and Sahil made 21 and 13 runs respectively.
For Jammu Blue XI side, Praful Dhar took 3 wickets while Aditpal, Uttkarsh and Karmonay scalped 2 wickets each.
In the second inning, Jammu Blue XI chased the target in 16 overs and registered 10 wickets win over Jammu Green XI. Idrees and Ashok played a splendid inning of 47 and 46 runs and remained not out.
Idrees Baig of Jammu Blue XI was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Rajender Singh and Sadik Hussain Malik as umpires, whole Vinod acted as scorer.
