Paradise XI outplays Legal Star to win title for 3rd consecutive season

JAMMU, Apr 17: Outplaying Legal Star by 7 wickets in the summit clash, Paradise XI lifted the title trophy of the cricket tournament as part of the Lawyers Annual Sports Meet for 3rd consecutive season to make hat-trick of the victories at University ground, here today.
Earlier in the final match, Legal Star after winning the toss chose to bat first and scored 113 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. AP Singh was the top scorer with 29 runs, while Gourav Jamwal contributed 24 runs to the total. Surinder Singh and Sanjay Sharma chipped in with 21 and 18 runs respectively. For Paradise XI, Ravi Abrol took 3 wickets, while Rohan and Sahil bagged 2 wickets each and Ajay Singh Manhas claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, Paradise XI chased the target easily in 14.2 overs by losing 3 wickets to win the match by 7 wickets. Guru Partap Singh was the highest scorer with 35 runs, while Sahil Aggarwal scored 29 runs. For Legal Star, Sami and Irfan took 1 wicket each. This was Paradise XI’s third consecutive victory over Legal Star XI in the final of this annual feature.
