JAMMU, Sept 13: Kalamkari Centre Society bagged a certificate of Educational Excellence in the field of ‘Fashion Designing’ in Indo-Global Summit and Expo 2012, organized by Indus Foundation Hyderabad in Hyderabad recently.
The objective of the Summit was to offer opportunities to Indian Educational Institutions for collaborations with foreign Universities.
The important feature of the summit was to present award to educational institutions around the world in recognition of their educational excellence in the field of Arts, Commerce, Business, Management, Science, Law, Engineering, Medicine etc.
The institutions catering to higher education and training were chosen for the award in a specific field.
The selection of the awardees was made by the Indus Foundation based on the criteria of educational transformation, sustainable investment, innovation, inclusion and diversity, quality of learning, monitoring and evaluation.
KCS College of Education, Jammu is the permanent participant of the Summit. Dr Bharti Sharma Punj represented the College at the Summit and received the Certificate of Excellence in Fashion Designing.
