JAMMU, Feb 7: A meeting of the Executive members of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association was held under the chairmanship of its president, Shiv Kumar Sharma who is also Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council and Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India. Others who attended the meeting were Prem Choudhary, Inderjeet Khajuria, Bansi Lal Tidyal, PR Sharma, Rakesh Khajuria and Mulkh Raj Sharma.
It was decided in the meeting that J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association will conduct selection trial on February 10, 2016 at Mahaveer Akhara, Shastri Nagar Jammu (Near Cremation Ground) at 10 am.
The weight categories will be 55 Kg, 61 Kg, 67 Kg, 75 Kg, 85 Kg, 97 Kg and 125 Kg.
Wrestlers desirous to take part in the trials have been asked to report to Mulkh Raj Sharma (NIS Wrestling Coach) or contact him on mobile no. 94191-01267 at the venue.
The selected wrestlers after undergoing 15 day’s camp will participate in the Federation Cup to be held at Alamgir Ludhiana from February 26 to 28, 2016.
The TA/DA will be provided by the J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association to the participants.
