HSS Ramgarh claims U-17 boys Volleyball title

SAMBA, Sept 5: Scripting a big win by three sets to nil (3-0) over Neta Ji High School Vijaypur in the final, Government Higher Secondary School Ramgarh claimed the title trophy in Volleyball Under-17 boys in the ongoing Samba District Inter-School Tournament in the disciplines of volleyball, kho-kho and kabaddi at Kehli Mandi ground, here.
The tournament which is being participated by about 300 students drawn from different institutions of Samba district, is being held under the overall supervision of Jarpal Singh, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Samba.
Meanwhile, in Under-19 boys kho-kho final, HSS Sumb trounced HSS Ghagwal by 4 points in a close contest, while in Under-19 boys kabaddi title clash, HSS Shishu Niketan Samba thrashed HSS Sumb by a big margin of 20 points.
In Volleyball Under-14 boys, HSS Suchani defeated MS Ramgarh by 3 sets to one (3-1).
