Sports Day celebrated at APS Miran Sahib

JAMMU, Dec 22: Army Public School Miran Sahib celebrated its Annual Sports Day in the school campus, here today.
The function commenced with the lighting of traditional lamp by the chief guest, Brigadier SKS Chauhan followed by reading out of the Annual Report of the school by the Principal, Lavinder Kaur in which she highlighted the achievements of the school.
The event was marked by different sports and cultural activities by the students ranging from Matka Race, Relay Race, Rabbit Race and various other events.
The well coordinated and elegant March Past by the four Houses and NCC Boys and Girls Wing added an inspiring and impressive charm to the function.
The winner’s House Trophy was bagged by Mother Teresa.
The chief guest gave away the prizes to the students for their achievements in sports and extracurricular activities.
The chief guest in his address appreciated the efforts of the School Management in shaping careers of the children.
The day concluded with the vote of thanks and National Anthem.
