JAMMU, Dec 11: Jodhamal Public School organized a colourful Bonanza for the students of class I to V in the Iron Dome Multipurpose hall of the school, today.
Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Simranjeet Singh, District Development Commissioner, Jammu was the guest of honour.
The Management, Principal and Vice Principal of the School welcomed the dignitaries on the occasion.
The programme started with a welcome speech by the SPL (Girl), Aanya Anand.
The melodious music by the School Chorus and Orchestra had soothing effect on the audience.
Instrumental hits like Come September, Lara’s Theme, Karz and Taquila enthralled the audience.
An open air Painting and Sketches Exhibition was organized where more than 400 paintings of the students were displayed.
Shri Krishan (Nat Nagar Ki Hai Yeh Leela) was the opening item, a mythological musical ecstasy, depicting every incident of his life mesmerized the audience..
The highlights of the programme were the two dance dramas ‘Wizards of Moh’ directed by Naveen Chopra, the famous theatre personality depicting the behavior characteristics of an individual and how he should get out of the vicious circle, the second was Pied Piper of Hamelin. Both these dance dramas kept the audience spell bound. The Gypsies of Class II amazed the guests with the splashing of colours and tinkling sounds of the Tambourines.
The Grand Finale was the fusion of contemporary ballet by Class IV prepared by UK based Teaching Assistants Rebeakah Jerram and Laura Bridgeman.
Prizes were also given to the students who excelled in various International, National, State and Inter-District Competitions.
The Trustee of the School Nandan Kuthiala spoke on the occasion, while Principal of the school, Trilok Singh Bist presented the School annual report highlighting the accolades of the JMPians.
The chief guest, Ashok Aima, in his address, congratulated the school for its glorious achievements.
The programme ended with the vote of thanks by the SPL (Boys) Karmanya Wahi, which was followed by the National Anthem.
