JAMMU, Dec 5: outlaying their rivals convincingly in the semifinal battles, Momin Mehraj and Rohit Sharma sealed berth in the finals of the State Junior Snooker Championship and will lock horns against each other in the summit clash at the same venue.
Earlier, in the first semifinal, Momin Mehraj defeated Attar Shafiq (3-0) by (77-39, 60-47, 66-46), while in another semifinal, Rohit Sharma outplayed Basit Wani (3-1) by (18-32, 67-32, 59-20, 61-54).
Meanwhile, in State Junior Billiards Championship, Sabby beat Saksham Gupta (2-0) by (50-35, 50-32), Kanav Manva outplayed Manik (2-0) by (51-30, 50-47), Furkan defeated Sabby (3-0) by (51-38, 51-46), Mandeep drubbed Furkan Wani (3-0) by (50-38, 51-40, 51-28) and Kanav beat Samarth Amla (3-0) by (52-10, 52-39, 51-36), while Mandeep got walkover against Ragun Chowdhary and Manik Sharma got walkover against Rohit Chowdhary.
