6th Police Martyrs Memorial T20 Tournament from Dec 15

KATHUA, Dec 3: The 6th Police Martyrs Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship, being organized by the Shaheed Welfare Committee in collaboration with J&K Police Department will commence from December 15, 2015 at Sports Stadium, here.
The decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of the members of Shaheed Welfare Committee including president, Ravinder Singh Slathia, patron Dr Jitender Singh, general secretary, Rakesh Sumbria and cashier Sanjay Pathak.
While addressing the media persons, Ravinder Singh Slathia said that Shaheed Welfare Committee in collaboration with Police Department is going to organize 6th Police Martyrs Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship, in remembrance of its brave soldiers, who sacrificed their lives for the safety and security of the nation.
He said that Shaheed Welfare Committee, which started this tourney in the memory of Shaheed DySP Manjeet Singh, now has taken a vast frame. Now, not only the teams from J&K only, but the teams from Punjab, Himachal, Delhi and other prominent States and cities comprising of international players also are taking part in tournament.
