POONCH, Oct 26: Defeating Power House Hockey Club by three goals to one (3-1) in the summit clash, Stadium XI lifted the title trophy of the District Poonch Sub Junior Hockey Tournament, organized by Hockey Poonch, under the aegis of Hockey J&K, here today.
For Stadium XI, the first goal was scored by Vishal Sudan in 28th minute, while the second and third goals were scored by Sharan and Shahbaz in 52nd and 58th minutes respectively. For Power House Club, the only goal was scored by Vikas in 30th minute.
The match was officiated by Mohd Ishaq, Sohail Azeem and Mukesh Kumar, while the Tournament was conducted under the overall supervision of Sham Lal, retired SAI hockey coach.
Nirdosh Kumar, In-charge Sports Stadium Poonch was the chief guest on the occasion, who was accompanied by Ravinder Singh and Ram Parkash Sharma.
