JKP XI thrashes Maharaja Sports in Khyber Super Division Football

SRINAGAR, Sept 6: J&K Police XI defeated Maharaja Sports convincingly by three goals to one (3-1) in the ongoing Khyber Super Division Big Premier Football League 2015, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association and sponsored by 92.7 Big FM and Amblin Events at Synthetic Football ground, TRC, here.
Led by skipper, Sandeep, JKP XI dominated the game from the word go and it was Tanveer , who pelted the first goal in 3rd minute of the game. However, in 33rd minute referee awarded penalty in favour of Maharaja FC which was converted into goal by Hanan to level the scores.
In the second half Tanveer gave J&K Police team lead in 45th mintute to make it (2-1) in favour of Police team and the last goal of the match was scored by Yaseen in 75th minute. Finally J&K Police XI outplayed Maharaja Sports by (3:1).
In tomorrow’s fixture, Maharaja Sports will face J&K SRTC XI at the same venue at 5pm.
