Srinagar, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Baramulla sail into semis

SRINAGAR, Sept 3: On the 2nd day of the Under-19 boys inter-district state level football tournament, twelve matches were played at different venues .
District Srinagar defeated  District Shopian by 8-0, District Budgam blanked District Kishtwar by 7-0, District Bandipora held District Anantnag to goalless draw, District Baramulla trounced District Pulwama by 6-0, District Poonch drubbed District Ramban by 4-0, District Ganderbal beat District Kupwara by 3-0, the matches between District Udhampur and District Samba ended in a draw and District Jammu defeated District Kathua by 3-0.
In the knock-out stage, four matches were played, in which District Srinagar beat District Anantnag by 7-1, District Ganderbalentered semifinals by  defeating District Jammu by 1-0, while District Bandipora defeated District Poonch by 5-1 and District Baramulla defeated District Budgam by 4-1 and with this District Baramulla qualified for semifinals.
