Army organizes Inter School Debate competition

REASI, July 27: Army under Operation Sadbhavana organised an Inter School Debate competition at tehsil Mahore in which students from schools of Bagga and Balmatkot area of the district participated enthusiastically.
This debate competition being the first of its kind was organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion stationed at Bagga.
Students spoke emphatically to counter the view-points of their competitors, by clearly and unambiguously expressing their own views on the given topic leading to a health contest.
On the occasion, Commanding Officer, Rashtriya Rifles battalion was the chief guest, who while speaking said that the competition was good platform for the students both boys and girls to showcase their talent.
He said that these kind of activities will surely enhance the self confidence of the students and also improve the communication skills of the children, boosting their confidence to compete at the next higher level.
“The competitions like these would go a long way to paving the path for their success in their educational careers and employment arena, in the years ahead”, CO added.
At the end, Commanding Officer distributed prizes among the winners and participants of the competition.
