JAMMU, May 3: The two-day Bocce Ball Raffa training camp concluded today at Kid Zee School and Salford Convent School, Chamb, Punjab. The camp was organized by the Raffa Boules Association Punjab under the banner of the Raffa Boules India Federation and affiliated with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
As per the handout issued, more than 60 players from all age groups actively participated in this training seminar. On this occasion, the General Secretary of Raffa Boules India, Sunny Nanda, guided the players and distributed certificates to all participants.
At the closing ceremony, eminent guests including School MD Gurpreet Singh and Director Daljeet Singh Dhaliwal were also present. The President of Raffa Boules Association Punjab, Rajiv Walia, honoured all the guests and gave special recognition to Sunny Nanda, who came from Jammu to train the players.
A total of 10 players were selected to represent Punjab in the upcoming Inter-State Bocce Ball Championship scheduled to be held on May 20 in Jammu.
