Skill Accelerator Lab inaugurated at YCET Jammu

JAMMU, Apr 20: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET), in collaboration with Spoken Tutorial Project IIT Bombay, EduPyramids and SINE IIT Bombay, today inaugurated a Skill Accelerator Lab, the first of its kind in Jammu & Kashmir.
The lab was formally inaugurated by Chairman Vidhi S. Singh, Managing Director Renu Bangroo, Director Sanjeev Singh, Senior Programme Manager Tanvir Singh and Dean Academics Dinesh Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Gupta highlighted the vision behind the initiative, while Sanjeev Singh emphasized the importance of skill-based and practical learning for students. Tanvir Singh appreciated the efforts of the institution in promoting Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and enhancing employability.
Among others present were Lovneesh Talwar (Head, Electrical), Anupreet (Head, CSE), K R Sharma (Head, Mechanical) and Rajnish Magotra (Head, Civil), who also presented the vote of thanks.
Chairman Vidhi S. Singh and Managing Director Renu Bangroo expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the successful inauguration of the Skill Accelerator Lab.
