JAMMU, Mar 25: It is a proud moment for the sports fraternity and the badminton community of J&K as Anil Gurkha has brought laurels to the Union Territory by winning the Gold Medal in the 65+ Men’s Doubles category at the Yonex-Sunrise Masters National Badminton Championships 2025, held from March 18 to 25 in Goa.
Gurkha has an illustrious record, having won numerous medals in All India level tournaments, including the All India Masters National Badminton Championships and various Masters Ranking tournaments. His past achievements also include Gold medals at Agrasen Masters, Chandigarh and Doon Smashers, Dehradun.
