SAMBA, Mar 18: Dogra Degree College organized a student presentation event titled “Business Success Stories: Legacy and Contributions” at the auditorium of Dogra Educational Complex for BBA students of 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters. The event was organised by Ashish Thakur, Assistant Professor, Deptt of Management, DDC. The programme aimed to provide students with insights into the journeys of renowned entrepreneurs and successful enterprises.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Amrit Bhardwaj, who set the tone for an engaging session. Students presented research on prominent business leaders and enterprises, highlighting their legacy, innovation, challenges and contributions to the business world.
The programme was graced by Dr Bharti Gupta and Rishab Chandhok, an alumnus of the college, who served as judges. The presentations focused on analysing business strategies, innovation and leadership approaches, helping students enhance research, presentation and critical thinking skills while gaining practical exposure.
The event was graciously presided over by R S Katal, Member of the Governing Body and Advisory Committee; Dr Bela Thakur, Principal, Dogra Degree College and Director, Dogra Group of Colleges.
In the competition, Arushi Sharma secured first position. The second position was secured by Lakshya Mahajan and Naman Vaid, while the third position was awarded to Bhargavi Singh, Palak Slathia and Ankita Mehra. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Preeti Sharma.
