JAMMU, Mar 5: Lord Mahavira Playway School celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation from students, teachers and parents. The event created a lively and energetic atmosphere, highlighting the importance of physical activity and holistic development among young learners.
The program featured a range of engaging activities including colorful cultural performances, an informative and creative ramp walk show and a series of fun-filled race competitions for the children.
The young participants displayed remarkable confidence, talent and sportsmanship during their performances and sporting events, which were widely appreciated by the audience.
The occasion was graced by the chief guest, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Spokesperson, BJP J&K, who distributed prizes and medals to the winning students. Congratulating the children for their enthusiastic participation, he encouraged them to maintain a healthy balance between academics and sports to ensure their overall growth and development.
He emphasized that sports and co-curricular activities play a vital role in the overall development of children by instilling qualities such as discipline, teamwork, leadership and self-confidence at a very young age. He also highlighted the importance of encouraging children to actively participate in sports alongside academics, as it helps build a healthy body and a strong character.
