DPS Jammu organizes SAKSHAM 2026

JAMMU, Feb 20: Delhi Public School Jammu, in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC), organized SAKSHAM 2026, a nationwide fuel conservation and awareness campaign at the school premises. The theme of the event was “Fuel Conservation, Sustainable Energy and Environmental Responsibility.”
Around 150 students from Classes VI to IX participated in Painting and Debate Competitions. During the felicitation ceremony, class-wise achievers of the painting competition were recognized for their creativity and awareness. In Class VI, Nitant Verma (VI-K) secured the 1st position, followed by Myra Thakur (VI-D) in 2nd position and Eva Singh (VI-E) in 3rd position. In Class VII, Divyanshi Sharma (VII-I) clinched the 1st position, while Aryahi Sharma (VII-I) secured the 2nd position and Shivanshi Gupta (VII-I) achieved the 3rd position. In Class VIII, Gouri Rajput (VIII-A) bagged the 1st position, Anirudh Rajput (VIII-H) stood 2nd and Jagrit (VIII-H) secured the 3rd position. From Class IX, Jitvar Singh (IX-C) earned the 1st position, Ayat Sartaj (IX-I) secured the 2nd position, and Gurmannat (IX-A) achieved the 3rd position.
In the debate competition, Jaivardhan of Class IX-J was felicitated for presenting compelling arguments in favour of the motion, while Chirag Luthra of Class IX-C was honoured for his impactful articulation against the motion.
