JAMMU, Feb 14: Nations Development Association (NDA) organised an awareness programme titled “Green Minds, Bright Futures: Youth for a Sustainable Tomorrow” in collaboration with Srijan International School, Jammu.
The initiative focused on promoting mental well-being, environmental responsibility and sustainable development, with active participation from the school’s teaching and administrative staff.
Dr Romesh Kumar, Head of Department, DIET Jammu, attended as chief guest and highlighted the crucial role of educators in nurturing emotionally resilient and socially responsible youth.
Dr Sanjolly Gupta, Project Research Scientist (ICMR–AIIMS Jammu), delivered a session on stress management and evidence-based mental health practices in educational institutions.
Vice Principal Karina Kour, during the vote of thanks, appreciated Sushil Singh Charak, Chief Functionary, NDA, for his leadership and acknowledged his recent recognition at the United Nations High-Level Meeting on Non-communicable Diseases and Mental Health.
