JAMMU, Jan 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association will conduct selection trials for the 72nd Senior National Kabaddi Championship (Men) from February 4 to 6 at Subash Stadium, Udhampur, starting daily at 1:00 pm. This was informed by General Secretary of the Association, Dr Kuldeep Kumar Gupta.
Gupta stated that the weight eligibility for male players is 85 kg and below, with no age restriction. He appealed to all affiliated districts and clubs of the UT to depute their registered players for the trials. Players serving in Central Government departments or Central Armed Forces must obtain prior permission from their respective departments. Only those serving in Central departments posted within Jammu and Kashmir UT will be eligible.
The selected team will represent J&K UT at the 72nd Senior National Kabaddi Championship to be held from February 24 to 27, 2026 at the Indoor Complex, Vadodara, Gujarat.
Dr Gupta added that players must bring two passport-size photographs, photocopies of Aadhar card, domicile certificate, NOC from parents, medical fitness certificate, departmental permission (if applicable) and valid Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India registration card.
