SRINAGAR, Jan 22: The screening test for the J&K Junior Ball Badminton Boys & Girls Team was conducted at Polo Ground, Srinagar, ahead of the 70th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship 2025-26 in Erode, Tamil Nadu, from January 28 to February 1.
As per handout issued the screened players had earlier participated in a Selection Trial on December 15, 2025, at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, followed by a 14-day Residential Coaching Camp from December 24, 2025, to January 6, 2026.
The test was supervised by the J&K Sports Council Screening Committee, including Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, Hilal Ahmad Bhat and Burhan Ahmad, along with members of the J&K Ball Badminton Association, Arsheena Khan, Muddasir Qayoom, Mohsin Farooq and reputed national players. The selected team will depart for the championship on January 25.
