JAMMU, Jan 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) today conducted its Election 2025 during a Special General Meeting (SGM) held at JKCA Office, Pavilion Building, Hostel Ground, Jammu. Notably, this was the first General Body meeting convened after the adoption of the JKCA Constitution.
As per handout issued by JKCA, the meeting was held to elect five office bearers and two councillors of the Apex Council. Out of 22 members of the General Body, 18 were present, completing the required quorum, while four clubs remained absent. The proceedings were conducted strictly in accordance with the JKCA Constitution.
Brig Anil Gupta (Retd), Member Administration, JKCA, welcomed the members. Electoral Officer AK Joti briefed the house about the Supreme Court order dated January 8, 2026, permitting the conduct of election, though declaration of results has been withheld.
