JAMMU, Jan 16: The Jammu District U-18 Boys and Girls Lawn Tennis Championship, organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Lawn Tennis Association (JKLTA), concluded today at the MA Stadium Tennis Courts, showcasing emerging talent from the region.
In the Girls’ singles final, Kyra Nagpal defeated Ridhya Gupta by 6-2, 6-1, displaying excellent control, consistency, and strategic play to secure the championship. In the Boys’ singles final, Hardeep Singh dominated Naman Tak by 6-1, 6-1, demonstrating superior skill and composure under pressure to claim the boys’ title.
The tournament highlighted the dedication, discipline, and competitive spirit of Jammu’s young tennis players, reflecting the growing popularity of the sport in the Union Territory. Organizers and officials lauded all participants for their sportsmanship and effort.
