29th J&K UT Billiards and Snooker C’ship

JAMMU, Dec 28: Younis Kuchay and Waseem Iqbal will lock horns in the final of the senior snooker category, while Sohail Khalid and Abhishek Pathania will face each other in the final of the senior billiards category at the ongoing 29th Jammu & Kashmir UT Billiards and Snooker Championship. The tournament is being organized by the J&K Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA) at the MA Stadium Billiards Hall, Jammu, under the aegis of the J&K Sports Council.
Earlier, Sohail Khalid advanced to the final with commanding victories, defeating his opponents by 101-62 and 101-75. Abhishek Pathania also booked his place in the final by defeating Vishal Abrol by 2-0, with scores of 100-85 and 100-75.
The championship has drawn top cueists from across the Union Territory, showcasing skill, strategy and competitive spirit. Organizers expressed satisfaction with the high standard of play and are anticipating exciting showdowns in both the snooker and billiards finals.
