SAMBA, Dec 26: Army Public School BD Bari celebrated the Annual Day for its Secondary Wing under the inspiring theme “Kshitij Rising to Radiance – Where Dreams Meet Destiny.”
The event was graced by Brig Naveen D. Prabhu, Chairman APS BD Bari, as chief guest and Sudha Prabhu, Chairperson FWO, HQ 92 Infantry Brigade, as guest of honour. They were accompanied by Lt Col Kanwar Rohit Singh, SO APS BD Bari, and Dr. Neeta Rawal, Principal APS BD Bari.
The evening commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by captivating performances including Cosmic Tandav – Rhythm of Creation, Bollywood Beats, Step Up and Shine and Grace of the Ancients. Christmas-themed dances and Footprints of Glory highlighted the school’s journey since 1994. Kshitij – Rising to Radiance paid tribute to the Indian Armed Forces, while other presentations included the yoga display Route to Fitness, Symphony of Wonders, The Valour Dance, The Soul of Sufiyana and Virsa-e-Punjab.
Meritorious students were felicitated by Brig Prabhu and Sudha Prabhu. Brig Prabhu motivated students to dream big, work hard, and uphold values, emphasizing the four pillars of effective learning: dedicated teachers, a conducive environment, positive company, and real-life experiences. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Priya Charak, Headmistress.
