JAMMU, Dec 20: Daffodils Care Convent Playway School, Jain Bazaar, Jammu celebrated its 11th Annual Day cum Graduation Ceremony at the Jammu Club Auditorium, attended by parents, dignitaries and well-wishers.
Shagun Manchanda, District Mission Coordinator, Mission Shakti, Social Welfare Department, graced the occasion as chief guest, while Narinder Gupta, Managing Director of the school, and several special invitees also attended.
The event, held under the theme “Pankh Aur Parampara – Legacy of Progressive India”, highlighted India’s cultural richness, unity in diversity, and progress. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a Ganesh Vandana, setting an auspicious tone.
A major highlight was a play featuring students portraying Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu and the President of Russia, showcasing India’s development and traditions. Vibrant performances representing various States of India and an energetic Dogra dance honouring dignitaries with the traditional paggri enthralled the audience.
Principal Shikha Puri expressed gratitude to parents and staff, while chief guest Shagun Manchanda appreciated the students’ confidence and creativity and presented Scrolls of Honour to the graduates.
