JAMMU, Dec 16: India clinched the Champion Spirit Cup 2025 by defeating Nepal by 4 wickets in an exciting final at the Amitabh Choudhary Cricket Stadium, Angara, showcasing the true spirit of Divyang cricket.
Batting first, Nepal posted 132 runs in 18.5 overs, with Ramjaan Ali top-scoring 53 and Ram Kumar Yadav adding 38. India’s bowlers, led by Sayed Shah Aziz Shah, restricted the opposition, with Shah taking 5 wickets for 15 runs in 3.5 overs and later contributing 14 runs, earning him Man of the Final Match honours.
Chasing the target, India scored 133/6 in 15.3 overs, powered by a brilliant 71-run knock by Aqib Malik, who was also named Man of the Series. Rahul Sharma received Man of the Match (2nd T20) for his impactful performance.
