JAMMU, Dec 11: The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, has deputed its Table Tennis (Men) team to participate in the North-Zone Inter-University Table Tennis (Men) Tournament 2025-26, scheduled to be held at Chitkara University, Punjab, from December 12 to 16.
The event will feature leading university teams from across the North Zone, offering a strong competitive platform for student-athletes to demonstrate their talent and sportsmanship. Before departure, Director of Directorate, Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, interacted with the players and formally flagged off the team at the University Sports Stadium.
The Jammu University contingent includes Madav Magotra, Madav Sharma, Raghav Monga and Chander Sheel Sharma, who will represent the institution in the tournament. They are accompanied by Coach Ravish Vaid and Manager Manant Arora, who will provide guidance and support throughout the event.
