KATHUA, Dec 10: DPS Junior Kathua achieved a historic victory at the 5th J&K UT Karate Championship 2025 held at Indoor Stadium, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. The school’s 14-member squad showcased exceptional talent and discipline, winning an outstanding 9 Gold and 5 Silver medals, marking one of its strongest performances till date.
Gold medallists included Samridh Choudhary, Madeshwar, Nandhana Abrol, Rakshit Sharma, Ranvijay Singh, Affan Ansari, Advik Andotra, Virain Attri and Nandita Singh, while Silver medals were secured by Shivaay Gupta, Arib Bhat, Aryaveer Singh, Ditvi Majotra and Nyraah Singh.
School In-charge Monika Singh praised the young champions and credited Sports Teacher Kajal Rajput for her dedicated mentoring. Administrator Gauri Thakur and Principal Vivek Arora congratulated the team for bringing pride to the institution.
