JAMMU, Nov 24: The penultimate day of the 69th National School Games 2025 in Table Tennis (Under-19 Boys and Girls) saw thrilling performances and medal-winning feats at the Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu. Organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, J&K, the championship features participants from 34 States, UTs and affiliated sports bodies across India.
In the Under-19 Girls category, Tamil Nadu clinched Gold through B.R. Nandhini, Deeksha P., M. Yogita, Shaheen Shah and M.R. Puja. West Bengal won Silver and Maharashtra took Bronze. In the Boys category, West Bengal secured Gold with Priyanshu Karmakar, Oishik Ghosh, Rajdip Dey, Sangram Sarkar, and Pratyush Mondal, while the Silver went to another team, and Karnataka claimed Bronze.
Jammu & Kashmir secured a victory in the opening team round, while individual players like Ragini made notable progress. The medal distribution was presided over by Mohd Rashid Kohli, Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports Kashmir, in the presence of Harvinder Kaur (ZPEO).
