JAMMU, Nov 23: Jodhamal Public School celebrated its 21st Junior School Annual Day for ‘Junior Wing’ with vibrancy and splendour, showcasing the theme “The Treasure Chest – The Five Aspects.” The event highlighted values, creativity, discipline and emotional growth through a series of captivating performances by the junior wing students.
The chief guest for the occasion was Sunil Bhardwaj, Member of Legislative Assembly, Ramnagar, Udhampur. Amit Sharma, Director, Census Operations for J&K and Ladakh, graced the celebration as the guest of honour. Other esteemed dignitaries included Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition in the J&K Legislative Assembly and Dr. Piyush Singla, Commissioner Secretary, Information Technology Department.
The programme commenced with a heartfelt welcome followed by the auspicious Lamp Lighting Ceremony. A soulful Orchestra performance by the students enhanced the beginning of the event, while inspiring addresses by trustee Nandan Kuthiala and other dignitaries added to its significance. A devotional Ganesh Vandana invoked blessings for a harmonious start.
A special thematic segment paid tribute to the armed forces and acknowledged the contributions of teachers, parents, farmers, workers and frontline professionals, celebrating unity and national responsibility.
The main presentation, “The Treasure Chest – The Five Aspects,” unfolded in three parts, interspersed with prize distribution I and II, presented by the guest of honour and the chief guest. Vice Principal Amita Arora presented the annual school report, highlighting academic, co-curricular and sports achievements. Meticulously coordinated under Deepali Puri, CCA Coordinator, the event concluded with a vote of thanks.
